Fawn Gehweiler

Fawn Gehweiler is described by Face Magazine as “the visual equivalent of candyfloss peppered with broken glass, delicious yet dangerous.” Her signature character-based paintings and works on paper have exhibited in galleries around the world, appear regularly in art and design books and have been commissioned for a number of fashion features and collections. Fawn’s work is influenced by alpine kitsch, sartorial escapism and her bohemian upbringing. Her art initiates a narrative that reflects the imaginary worlds of little girls, past and present, while treading the fine line between wide eyed innocence and dark fairy tales. Fawn lives and works in Los Angeles.
